We need umpires in our softball league and this is a great way for high school kids to make some extra cash!

This Official Leadership Training Program, is being provided at no cost by UMPS CARE CHARITIES, a national non-profit that was formed by MLB umpires in 2006.  It will be held on Sundays from March 2 to April 6 at the Reds Youth Academy in Cincinnati.  The program is completely FREE and includes tickets to a future Reds game, equipment gift certificates and discounts, and a chance to learn the benefits of being a sports official.

OFFICIAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
UMPS CARE, in partnership with Major League and local umpires, is hosting a 6-
week junior umpire training at the Reds Youth Academy! Participants (ages 13-18)
will develop life and leadership skills while learning the fundamentals of
umpiring, preparing them to work as officials in their community.
